Amazon Prime Fashion

Amazon Prime is probably the best thing to come along since the invention of chocolate covered bacon. I’ve used Prime for quite some time to order everything from face cream to toilet paper but have recently gotten more into their clothing. Not only is everything so well priced but because it’s prime, it ships and returns free! Here’s a little roundup of a few hits and misses from the wonderful world of Amazon Prime.

Floral Blouse

Amazon Fashion
[Top, Jeans, Heels]

Let’s give things started off on the right foot with a big #amazonwin. This top is the perfect pattern for spring and has the cutest neck detail. I’m quite the possibly the worst picture taker in America so my hand is covering the button around the neck which means you just have to trust me…it’s cute! It’s not quite long sleeve and it’s not short sleeve making it the perfect length for springtime temps. I would suggest sizing up, I’m wearing a small.

Romper

Amazon Fashion
[Romper]

This romper though!!! If you’re not blinded by the pastiness, you should be able to see how adorable this romper is! It’s super soft, has pockets, and a stretchy waistband that helps hide any extra “fluff”

Leopard Top

Amazon Fashion
[TopJeansHeels]

This leopard top is quite possibly my favorite Amazon clothing purchase I’ve made to date. Maybe it’s because I’m still leopard obsessed but I love everything about it. It can easily be dressed up with black pants for work or jeans for the weekend. I’ve also worn it unbuttoned with a black tank for a more casual look (see below.)  I suggest sizing up, I’m in a small.

Amazon Leopard Top

Warner’s Bra

Amazon Fashion
{Bra}

I’ll spare you the pic of me in this bra but for this fantastic price, I had to give this one a shot! So far, my bosom is enjoying it 🙂

Jumpsuit

Amazon Fashion
{Jumpsuit}

I absolutely LOVE this jumpsuit but it’s way too long on me. I think I may actually get it hemmed because I love it THAT much!

Leopard Kimono

Amazon Fashion
{KimonoMules}

I SO wanted to love this Kimono but it’s a big long on my 5’1″ shrimpy frame. I do think it would work well as a cover up though! Wearing size small.

Camo Top

Amazon Fashion
{Spend, Save}

This camo top is a fantastic dupe of the Express version I’ve been eyeing for about a quarter of the price! The Amazon version fits TTS, I’m wearing xs. It says it’s a crop top but I don’t really think that it is.

L’oreal Foundation

Amazon Beauty{Foundation}

To wrap up this post, I leave you a giant picture of my mug 😂 I tried this drugstore foundation and found it to be just as good as my higher end foundations! It covers well, lasts long, and doesn’t look “cakey”

There you have it, folks! Have you found anything you love recently on Amazon?

Bathing Suit Up.png

In the famous words of Barney Stinson, (bathing) suit up! I will tell you that there’s probably not much worse than bathing suit try-ons after a long winter of hibernating and stuffing my pie hole while cooped up on the couch 😂 I took one for the team and tried on a few suits from various places to find you the best one! Warning: make sure to shield your eyes from the pasty glow.

Two Piece Leopard

bathing.PNG

Let’s start with the one that I didn’t even take a picture in because it was SO bad. I’m talking pieces parts were flying out everywhere and I wouldn’t been banned from the internet. Some of the reviews are pretty good but it was definitely a no go for me.

Bow Strap One Piece

Image may contain: one or more people

This Bow One Piece suit from Target was definitely a contender for one of my favorites! The bow tie on the sleeve was so stinkin’ cute! I did find it to run a tad big though. I’m wearing a small here but need an XS. Right now it’s BOGO 50% off!

Monokini

One Piece Swimsuit
This monokini was the first one I tried on from Amazon and I liked it a lot! It was supposed to come with straps but I think one of my cats took off with them and they’re yet to be found 😂 I’d definitely feel more comfortable with the straps but overall it’s a super cute suit! It fits true to size, I’m in a 4-6.

Scalloped TopScalloped Bottoms

Image may contain: 2 people, people smiling

OK, this suit is adorable!!! I love scallops on my body or in my belly 🙂 The top was a bit tight so I suggest sizing up but the bottoms fit perfectly! Also, this leopard kimono from Amazon was a definite winner!

Halter One Piece

Best Bathing Suit

Winner winner chicken dinner! This one was by far my favorite of the bunch! The fit is super flattering and just look at that back 😍 It’s also got tummy control 🙂  I sized up to a 6 in this one (I’m normally a 4)

Now all that’s left to do is wait for some warm weather!  Until next time, xoxo.

Trunk Club Review

This is my third time using Trunk Club but first review. I think it took a couple tries to get things I actually liked and that fit properly (for the most part). If you don’t know what Trunk Club is, allow me to explain. Trunk Club is a Nordstrom company that sends you a trunk full of clothes upon your request. You can opt to schedule a trunk whenever you feel like  or choose to subscribe to monthly, quarterly or any other specific intervals. The fee is $25 but is waived if you are a Nordstrom cardholder which is a pretty great deal in my opinion! You get a stylist that you can chat with online or by phone and tell them everything you’re looking for, what you like what you don’t like, what works for your shape etc. Then, they send you a preview and you can decide which items you want sent. You can also choose a different color or decide to skip the entire trunk altogether. You can also pick your price points but sale items typically aren’t included. Your trunk then magically shows up (via the nice delivery driver) right at your door! You have five days to decide what you want to keep then just put everything back in the trunk and schedule a free pickup! Easy peezy! Of note, is that if an item does go on sale within 14 days, you can request a price adjust. Nordstrom is also really good at price matching so if you find a better price of something in your trunk, just ask them to price match! If you’d like to give it a whirl, you can sign up through my referral link here. OK, enough jibber jabber, let me show you what I got!

Rebecca Minkoff Bag,
 Levi’s Jeans, BP Chambray Top

51339508_1074906926045412_6320858538654564352_n

Rebecca Minkoff Shoulder Bag (on sale for $228)  – YOU GUYS. I swear there were angels singing when I took this bag out of the box. It looks like a pretty simple bag but the material and structure just made my heart go pitter patter. This is typically more than I would spend on a bag but I’m having an awfully hard time getting this little guy back in the box. Verdict – Undecided

Levi’s Jeans ($99) – Personally I wasn’t a fan of these jeans. They fit OK but the bottoms were just off for me. I’m a skinny jeans girl and these just weren’t for me. True to size. Verdict – Returned

BP Chambray Top ($59) – I really liked this chambray top if it had fit properly. It runs super small and buttoning it was like pushing biscuits back into the can after it had popped. Verdict – Returned

Zella Leggings

Image may contain: 3 people, shoes and indoor
Zella Leggings ($54) – I’ve heard the hype of Zella leggings and now I get it!! These leggings were extremely flattering and super comfy! TTS. I really don’t need a pair of black leggings at the moment so I had to send them back. Verdict – Returned

Topshop Sweater, Steve Madden Booties
Trunk Club Review

Topshop Sweater ($68) – I liked the look and feel of this one but it was just too short my liking. Maybe a size up or some high waisted jeans would work better? Verdict – Returned

Steve Madden Booties ($99) – I LOVED these!! The slit on the side makes them the perfect transitional bootie. The only reason I didn’t keep was because I have something similar and one more pair of tan booties into my house may send my boyfriend over the edge. (True to size) Verdict – Reluctantly Returned

Trunk Club Review

Hinge Tweed Sweater ($79) – Oh my gosh, how cute is this sweater?! It fit perfectly and the colors are oh so cute! The only thing that got me on this one was the price point. I figured I’ll send it back and wait for a good sale. (True to size, wearing xs) Verdict – Reluctantly Returned (for now)

Ralph Lauren Trench Coat

Trunk Club Review

Ralph Lauren Trench Coat (on sale for $110) – Go, go gadget wings! I felt a little bit of a mix between Inspector Gadget and Sherlock Holmes in this trench. It was a bit big on me as well so back it goes. Size down, wearing in xs and is too big. Verdict – Returned

Blank NYC Jacket

IMG_3698

Blank NYC Jacket ($79) – I had tried this jacket on months and months ago and fell in love with it. I have been waiting for a sale but I have not seen one on this color. I’m taking this as a sign and keeping it anyways. Verdict – Kept

Chelsea28 V Neck Sweater

Trunk Club Review

Chelsea28 V Neck Sweater ($69) – Another one I absolutely loved was this Chelsea28 sweater! So comfy and perfect for Valentine’s Day! I’m starting to think I *maybe* have too many clothes because I also own a super similar one so it has to go back 😢 (TTS, wearing in xs) Verdict – Reluctantly Returned

Sam Edelman Penny Boots

IMG_3703

Sam Edelman Penny Boots ($150) – Yes, these boots are as amazing as everyone says they are. In fact, they are so amazing that I already own them in cognac. I figured I didn’t need black too…or did I? Verdict – Returned

IMG_3704

BB Dakota Shift Dress ($88) – This dress was so cute! It was a tad short even on my 5’1″ self so I definitely wouldn’t recommend for someone taller. I have zero places to wear this to so back it went. Verdict – Returned

Overall, I truly enjoyed this Trunk. The ease of having clothing shipped directly to your door for try on is worth it’s weight in gold. Nordstrom truly makes the process effortless and I am thankful that they offer such a service. If you’d like to try it for yourself, please sign up through my referral link right here. Until next time xoxo

It is hard to believe that in about 168 hours from now, I will have a gut full of turkey and cranberry sauce! Thanksgiving is my absolute favorite day of the year! There’s no pressure for gifts and it’s just a time to spend with family. If you’re not cooking, the only thing you have to worry about is what to wear! I think that there’s three types of ways to dress for the occassion…comfy, casual, or dressed up. I typically fall into the “casual” category but boy do I wish I could just hang around in my comfies! Which type of Thanksgiving do you dress for?

Universal Thread Booties

Fall Booties{Booties}

Fall Fashion{SweaterJeansBootiesSimilar Hat}

Yes, my friends, I did sit on the floor at Target to take that first picture. The life of a blogger isn’t always glamorous, folks 😂 In any case, these booties are one of my favorites I’ve bought this season. The color is perfect and they’re surprisingly comfy for having a heel. They fit true to size for me.

Abercrombie Dupe

Fall Fashion{PulloverJeansShoes}

If you’ve been eyeing the Abercrombie sherpa pullover, this is a great alternative at a cheaper price. I will say that the inside isn’t very soft but will be fine a long sleeve top underneath. I’m wearing a size small which is a bit oversized. I’m typically an xs.

lineFall Picture

Fall Decor

Home decor is just not something I’m great at but I’ve been trying a little bit harder recently. I came across this picture on Amazon and for the price I really wasn’t expecting much. I was wrong! This looks exactly like it’s pictured and adds such a nice “fall” touch. Lots of prints available.

Leopard Vest

FB561B74-B223-4C09-8771-F21A648EED3C{VestBlack TopJeans}

I keep waiting to sick of leopard print like that baloney sandwich my mom packed me for 3 years in a row but it just hasn’t happened yet! This vest is a definite winner and will be a staple piece this fall/winter!

lineL’ange Curling Wand

L'Ange Curling Wand

Let me be the first to tell you that I have no idea what I’m doing when it comes to hair. I’ve been straightening my hair since I was around 13 years old and that’s all I’ve been able to figure out (seriously, it’s a wonder I don’t still wear butterfly clips) That is until NOW! I have finally found a wand that I can use and actually holds the curls all day long. You can currently save 20% when you use code 698299.

Lighted String Lights

Fall Decor

This was probably the best $8 I’ve spend in a long time on Amazon. They definitely added just what I needed to “fallerize” (new word!) my apartment.

Camo Rain Boots

IMG_1745{Booties}

I’m still debating whether I’m more obsessed with camo or leopard print but I think we should just call it a tie. These rain boots are everything I could’ve wanted and more! Make sure to use code FRIENDS2018 to save 25% at checkout! I find these true to size.
